Potters Resorts is delighted to announce the appointment of Les Gillett as Bowls Manager at Hopton-on-Sea, bringing one of the sport’s most recognisable and respected names to the UK’s only fully-inclusive short breaks provider.
Les, currently ranked World No.5 on the World Bowls Tour and crowned World Open Singles Champion in 2022, will take over the role from long-standing Bowls Ambassador Greg Harlow, who leaves with our heartfelt thanks and very best wishes as he embarks on new projects beyond Potters.
In his new role, Les will oversee and host the weekly bowls tournaments at Potters Resorts Hopton-on-Sea, as well as introduce additional opportunities during the outdoor season. His energy, experience, and passion for the game promise to build on the resort’s proud legacy as the home of the Ambassador Cruise Line World Indoor Bowls Championships, and the leading destination for year-round bowls breaks.
