The summer holidays are days away, and we’ve already told you about some of the incredible experiences lined up across the six weeks. And if you haven’t already made plans for the UK’s best family break, prepare for a serious case of holiday FOMO.
Kids vs Adults is set to bring families together for hilarious challenges, friendly rivalry, and plenty of moments where the kids unexpectedly humble the grown-ups.
Target Strike ShowdownWhether you’re racing for glory in Big Screen Karting, battling it out in Target Strike Showdown, or attempting to complete secret missions in Spy School, there’s something every day designed to get families laughing, competing, and making memories.
Your family entertainment is bigger, bolder, and more energetic too. Guests can look forward to the ultimate party night in The Atlas Theatre with Live ‘N’ Loud — an interactive gameshow experience packed with music, audience participation, and feel-good chaos — before the night builds towards A Night to Remember, a dazzling Potters Theatre Company production created for #SummerOfFun.
And let’s not forget, the brand-new summer production AMPLIFIED! brings huge vocals, spectacular choreography, stunning visuals, and wall-to-wall anthems designed to have you singing all the way back to your cosy room.
Potters Got Stars gives budding performers the chance to step into the spotlight, whether it’s singing, dancing, comedy, or something wonderfully unexpected. Younger guests can also build confidence and creativity with PTC Academy, where the next generation of performers can learn new skills.
Potters Got StarsThe energetic KPop Heroes Dance Class allows you to learn fast-paced routines inspired by the global K-pop phenomenon, while the much-loved Street Fayre goes Around the World for 2026, bringing even more colour, music, themed entertainment, and interactive fun to the resort.

Summer Vibes Off the Scale!
If an already-delicious menu four times a day wasn’t quite filling enough, then The BBQ Shack gives families even more choice and flexibility.
With prime pork hot dogs and steak burgers in brioche buns, fresh corn on the cob, plus sautéed onions, sliced cheese and sauces, you can enjoy the outdoors in true BBQ style, or take your choices back to your table for delicious extras from the menu or self-serve areas. Meat-free options are also available, suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets.
Exclusive to #SummerOfFun at Hopton-on-Sea, The BBQ Shack will be open daily from 12:30pm to 1:30pm (excluding Fridays and Mondays).
Meanwhile, for those who have experienced the #SummerOfFun in recent years, you may have treated yourself to a British staple on The South Terrace — the famous Choc Ice. They’ll be there as usual, but this year, The Potters Ice Cream Parlour outside The Garden Restaurant will also be serving soft scoop at your leisure from 2:00pm to 4:00pm (excluding Fridays and Mondays).
It’s yet another fully inclusive option for kiddies and adults alike. With your favourite flavours in a tub or sugar cone, is there anything that typifies the Great British summer more than that?!

Because our new Pimms and Prosecco pop-up on The South Terrace is set to become the ultimate meeting spot.
We’re bringing those quintessential summer flavours right to you, hosted at a stylish new decked area complete with tables, comfy chairs and loungers.
Whether it’s a delicious BBQ on the Family Green, a refreshing ice cream in hand, or Pimms o’clock, we’re getting you ready to experience those ultimate summer vibes!
Dedicated Spaces for Family Fun
The Family Fun Zone is the perfect place to relax, play, and enjoy quality time together between activities this summer.
With KMX Bikes, Table Tennis, Mini Segways, Silly Games and more, it’s a chance to cheer on the kids or soak up the holiday atmosphere.
With the Bowlers Bar on hand for refreshing drinks too, it’s set to be a true hive of activity this #SummerOfFun.
Meanwhile, for those with extra energy to burn, a dedicated new Inflatable Zone expands on returning favourites in The International Arena.
Last Man Standing and the Assault Course will be available as usual, of course. But added to the mix this year will be Boo’s Fun House for younger children, and a hilarious Bungee Run — which we expect will create some of the funniest family moments of the summer!

The Potterators have been busy preparing brand-new challenges ready for the #SummerOfFun, with even more opportunities for guests to get involved, compete, and laugh together.
The best example might be the hilarious Heroes & Supervillains Rounders, where the Potterators turned caped crusaders and mischievous masterminds will lead a wildly unpredictable version of the classic game. Rules change. Challenges appear. Chaos ensues.
Whether you’re batting for the heroes or scheming with the villains, this is a high-energy, laugh-out-loud family competition at its finest.
For anyone who enjoys a little friendly rivalry, Ten-Pin Tournaments are certain to be hugely popular. It’s a chance to play one of the resort’s favourite activities, and settle once and for all who the family bowling champion really is!
Younger guests certainly won’t want to miss what’s happening in the Garden Bar either. New Kids Club activities and discos are set to bring added excitement, including themed nights such as Safari and Glitz & Glam — both guaranteed to keep little ones dancing until your evening entertainment continues in The Atlas Theatre.
There’s even something new for guests looking to try a classic Potters activity for the very first time. On Midweek Breaks this #SummerOfFun, guests can ‘roll up, roll up’ and join Les Gillett — a former World Champion and current World No.7 — for Fun Introductory Bowls Sessions at the home of the World Indoor Bowls Championships.
