The Potters Theatre Company is pulling back the velvet curtain and inviting guests into a world of mystery, mischief, and dazzling entertainment with a brand-new show experience this summer—The Cabaret Club.
Launching at Five Lakes mid-July and at Hopton-on-Sea for the #SummerOfFun, this exclusive, speakeasy-style production will transport audiences straight into the heart of the roaring 1920s, where jazz is king, the drinks flow, and the only way in is to keep a secret password close to your chest.

This is no ordinary evening at the theatre. It’s an immersive experience, set in a hush-hush members-only venue, tucked away from prying eyes. It’s where the big city’s most daring entertainers, sharpest gangsters, and glamorous showgirls come to play. Al Capone would be proud.
Creative Producer Roxy Yarnold says: “This new production is really bold. It’s something very different and exciting to what our guests are used to. The night won’t be limited to the stage. There’ll be plenty of surprises, sharp comedy sketches, and of course, the Potters Theatre Company bringing dazzling entertainment, and it’ll be unfolding all around you.”
With a welcome drink in hand, you’ll be led into an intimate cabaret-style setting, where tables sit right on the dance floor. And we’re turning the big screens off—this production is pure Art Deco opulence, with real sets, rich velvet drapes and golden stage lights creating an atmosphere dripping in decadence.
But always remember… you’re not supposed to be here. The authorities could shut us down at any moment, so keep your wits about you!

With a show-stopping mix of burlesque, cabaret, and jazz, expect a performance that’s a love letter to everything from The Great Gatsby to Bugsy Malone, and Moulin Rouge to Chicago. It’s an unmissable blend of high-energy entertainment, incredible vocals, slick choreography and speakeasy charm.
But it’s not all smooth criminals and sultry melodies. Hilarious comedy will keep things light as our entertainers get into character, and navigate the chaos of keeping their secret paradise under wraps from the cops. And, at the centre of it all is your charismatic evening host, charmingly guiding guests through a night of music and mischief, ensuring no two performances are ever quite the same.
