At Potters Resorts, we’re proud to be part of a community filled with people who give, care, and inspire every single day.
Whether it’s lending a hand to a neighbour, raising vital funds for a good cause, or saving lives in emergency situations, we are so often reminded of what true community spirit looks like.
And this October, we’ve had the privilege of celebrating some of those remarkable people at two incredible events.

We were delighted to attend the NARS (Norfolk Accident Rescue Service) Annual Ball at Caistor Hall Hotel in Norwich—an evening dedicated to raising funds for a truly life-saving cause.
Hosted by TV magician and Dancing on Ice star Ben Hanlin, and introduced by the NARS leadership team of Chris Neil, Carl Smith and Steve Maddams, the night was filled with laughter, entertainment, and heartfelt moments.

By the end of the evening, a staggering £76,500 had been raised. A sum that will directly support NARS’ vital work providing critical care to those in need across Norfolk.

And we’re proud to continue our support to NARS via our Every Second Counts campaign, which also supports BASICS Essex—two organisations whose values of compassion, teamwork, and service mirror those at the heart of Potters Resorts.

At Potters Resorts, we’ve always believed that being part of a community means giving something back. That may be through fundraising, raising awareness, or simply supporting those who dedicate their lives to helping others.
Supporting events like the NARS Annual Ball and the Pride of Essex Awards is an extension of that same philosophy. It’s a chance to celebrate the people who embody care, community, and compassion in everything they do.
To every volunteer, nominee, winner, and supporter: thank you for inspiring us. Your stories remind us that kindness is contagious—and that when we come together, even the smallest actions can make a world of difference.
