From July onwards, your Potters Resorts programme gets yet another refresh, with an exciting wave of activities designed to bring more variety and memorable moments to your fully inclusive summer getaway.
Whether you’re heading to the Norfolk coast or enjoying the Essex countryside, new wellness opportunities, quizzes, games and crafts are coming your way. And as the seasonal fun constantly evolves, your summer programme proves one thing above all else…

Your Day, Your Way
At the heart of this summer’s additions is a continued focus on wellbeing. But in true Potters style, it’s accessible, enjoyable and designed for everyone.
Across both resorts, Outside & Stretch offers a gentle and refreshing way to begin your day. Set in the great outdoors, it combines light movement with fresh air and a relaxed atmosphere. And if the weather isn’t quite playing ball, there’s always an indoor option ready to go.
Complementing this is Better Balance, a wellness-focused class aimed at improving coordination, stability and overall body control. Through simple, guided exercises, you’ll build confidence in your movement, and all at your own pace.
At Hopton-on-Sea, you can take on an even more tranquil tone with Tai Chi and Qigong sessions. These slow, mindful practices blend movement and breathing to create a calming, almost meditative experience — a peaceful contrast to the lively programme that follows.
Meanwhile at Five Lakes, choose from Chair Exercise, perfect for low-impact activity, or energising Aqua Classes in the pool, where movement meets fun in a refreshing and sociable environment.
Think Fast, Laugh Loud
As the day gathers pace, so too does the energy. And from July, there are even more ways to get involved, get competitive and most importantly, have a laugh.
New across both resorts, Rock Busters brings music, trivia and high-energy challenges together in a game show-style format. Expect big tunes, quick thinking and plenty of team spirit as you test your knowledge of popular music culture.
Alongside it, Link It delivers a different kind of challenge. Fast-paced and interactive, it’s all about making connections — linking clues, ideas and answers under pressure. It’s simple to pick up, and surprisingly addictive once you get going!
For those who prefer a more traditional style of play, organised tournaments featuring Bridge, Qwirkle and Mexican Train Dominoes offer a more relaxed, social form of competition. These sessions are as much about conversation and camaraderie as they are about winning.
And for those with creative minds, Lego Jigsaw provides a hands-on activity that’s equal parts fun and satisfying. Whether you’re building together or tackling a giant puzzle, it’s a great way to slow things down and enjoy a shared challenge.
Coastal Creativity and Curiosity
On the Norfolk coast, Hopton-on-Sea continues to build on its varied programme with a range of unique and imaginative additions.
The Great Panda Hunt is already shaping up to be a firm favourite. This self-guided treasure hunt encourages guests to explore the resort while tracking down hidden pandas using clues and observation. It’s playful, engaging and perfect for all ages.
For a completely different experience, Silent Movies transform film-watching into something a little more immersive. With silent disco headsets, guests can tune into the action while the world around them fades away, creating a relaxed and personal cinema experience.
Creativity also takes centre stage with new craft sessions. Mandala Art invites guests to create intricate, colourful designs in a calming and mindful setting. Meanwhile, Diamond Art Keyrings offer something a little more hands-on, with tiny gems forming vibrant patterns that double as a take-home keepsake.
And for those feeling competitive, Ten Pin Tournaments bring a lively edge to the GameZone, combining friendly rivalry with plenty of laughs along the way. Not to mention, it’s an opportunity to enjoy a Hopton-on-Sea highlight that isn’t usually included in your Fully Inclusive Break.

Over at Five Lakes, the programme expands in July with a wide range of new activities designed to keep the energy high and the laughter flowing.
Step up to the Penalty Shoot Out and test your aim against the Entertainment Team in a light-hearted football challenge. Meanwhile, Field Archery offers a more focused test of skill. You’ll learn the basics before taking aim at targets in a safe, supervised setting.
For something more playful, Remote Control Ducks bring a touch of the unexpected. Guiding your duck around the water might sound simple… until the races begin and the competition heats up!
Game show fans are particularly well catered for. Countdown brings a familiar format to life with word and number challenges, while the Interactive Quiz mixes traditional trivia with physical rounds and audience participation. Add in Love & Marriage, where couples discover just how well they really know each other, and there’s no shortage of laugh-out-loud moments.
There’s also a brand-new Lunchtime Special (which Hopton-on-Sea fans will know and love), bringing light-hearted fun to the middle of the day at Five Lakes.
If you’re feeling competitive, Guests vs Ents introduces an ongoing battle between guests, and the entertainment team. With new challenges each day, it’s a running storyline throughout your break — and one that you’ll be keen to win!
And the Essex countryside also provides a relaxed space to enjoy outdoor games like Giant Chess, Draughts and Dominoes, ideal for a slower pace or a casual challenge with friends. Giant Jenga adds a twist to a familiar favourite, with each block revealing a surprise — from jokes and dares to unexpected challenges — making every game unpredictable.
Creative guests can also enjoy Fan Decorating, designing their own colourful keepsake to take home — a simple but satisfying reminder of their summer break.
Meanwhile, for something completely different but equally memorable, a Country Afternoon brings themed entertainment to life with music, dancing and interactive games, creating a lively, feel-good atmosphere that’s hard to resist.
