A Season of Comfort, Colour & Celebration

From relaxing adult-only breaks, family fun and brand-new entertainment, autumn is upon us — a season not to be missed.

As long summer days soften into golden afternoons and crisp evenings, autumn arrives with a different kind of magic.

Across both Potters Resorts Hopton-on-Sea and Potters Resorts Five Lakes, October and early November bring a season filled with warmth, colour and togetherness — where glowing sunsets, crunchy leaves and cosy interiors create the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable break away.

Enjoy Fully Inclusive Adult Only Breaks this autumn at Potters Resorts

As the landscape shines with rich shades of amber, copper and crimson, there’s something wonderfully comforting about escaping to the coast or countryside at this time of year.

The air feels fresher and there’s a sense of calm that settles across both resorts.

Fully Inclusive Breaks for the whole family are available during Half Term and Fireworks Weekend

Whether it’s wrapping up for a peaceful morning stroll or enjoying the warmth of live entertainment inside, autumn at Potters Resorts is designed to make every moment feel special. New menus capture the season with fresh new flavours, while at our bars, a range of seasonal additions make those quizzes and quiet moments even more delicious.

For Adults Only

If you’re seeking an adult-only escape, autumn offers the ideal opportunity to truly unwind. With cooler days encouraging relaxation and cosy evenings made for entertainment and indulgence, it’s a time to press pause and recharge before (dare we say it…) the festive season arrives.

Days can be spent enjoying a packed programme of activities, trying something new with friends, making a holiday keepsake, or simply soaking up the welcoming atmosphere that makes every Potters break feel like home.

From exciting daytime activities to fresh entertainment ideas, autumn delivers more opportunities for guests to laugh, connect and make lasting memories together.

As you’ll discover, be it your first visit or fiftieth, there is always something new waiting to surprise you.

New Entertainment

Having launched AMPLIFIED! in the summer, the autumn season also sees an early chance to experience Musical Icons — yet another spectacular and brand-new production from the Potters Theatre Company.

Musical Icons has gone down a storm since its launch in September

Celebrating the legendary pop hits and global superstars whose music has gone on to inspire world-famous stage shows, this new show promises a dazzling soundtrack packed with iconic songs audiences know and love.

Bursting with energy, powerhouse vocals and stunning production, Musical Icons will take guests on a journey through some of music’s greatest moments, bringing together the unforgettable artists and chart-topping anthems that continue to captivate audiences across generations.

It’s already become an unmissable part of your evening programme. And it’s another example of the exceptional live performances that have become synonymous with the Potters Theatre Company.

AMPLIFIED! has been a big hit at Hopton-on-Sea and Five Lakes

Of course, autumn is also about slowing down and appreciating the simple pleasures of the season.

At Hopton-on-Sea, guests can enjoy the beauty of the Norfolk coastline as sea breezes mingle with autumn air. At Five Lakes, the Essex countryside becomes a peaceful haven of changing colours and tranquil surroundings.

There’s a unique sense of comfort in returning from the outdoors into the warmth of the resorts — perhaps for a coffee, a lively quiz, or an evening spent applauding another incredible show and comedy from your favourite faces.

Fully Inclusive Family Breaks

Meanwhile, half-term and a spectacular fireworks weekend at Hopton-on-Sea are set to bring more excitement for families and guests of all ages.

It’s an opportunity to gather your loved ones for some quality time together and a well-earned escape from the routine.

With activities and entertainment designed for every generation, there’s something truly special about creating family memories at this time of year — children embracing the excitement of the season, grandparents sharing in the fun, and everyone coming together to enjoy precious time away.

The autumn season truly provides the backdrop for memorable moments that stay with families long after the season has passed.
