Aside from that there’s sports, virtual reality, Giant's Swing, you name it, potters has it. We used the pool everyday and it was always clean and quiet. There’s a hot tub, steam room and sauna.”

The World Comes To Potters Every January
Every January, Potters Resorts Hopton-on-Sea hosts The World Indoor Bowls Championships. Over 17 days we welcome the world’s best players, as they take to The International Arena to compete for five trophies.

Winter Bowls Tournaments
This January and February, you can enjoy a selection of inclusive bowls tournaments on selected breaks at the home of The World Indoor Bowls Championships. These extra activities are free-to-enter, but it’s important to register your participation in bowls at time of booking as spaces are limited.
Short Mat Bowls Tournaments
This variation of carpet bowls is played on a specially designed 45-foot long and 6-foot wide mat, with a block in the middle and ditches at both ends, adding an extra layer of excitement and strategy to your game.
Embrace this friendly competition as we bring people together through the joy of this fantastic sport, exclusively at Hopton-on-Sea this Winter.
Indoor Bowls Tournaments
After the World Indoor Bowls Championships concludes, you can enjoy free-to-enter indoor bowls tournaments on the famous blue carpet.
Format:
• Teams of four
• Three guaranteed games (up to 90 mins each)
• Knockout matches for top performing teams
• Teams will typically play four round robin games (occasionally three depending on participant numbers) of up to 90 minutes per game.

A Wonderful Week
Such a lovely resort, fabulous staff, entertainment, food, accommodation. We stayed for 4 nights in the hotel and were looked after beautifully. The resort is spotlessly clean with lots going on but equally, if you fancy peace and quiet there's plenty of space for that too. The food is plentiful and of super quality. The entertainment team are great fun and the shows were simply stunning. I'd have been happy to see them in the West End. From quizzes to bowling to archery to segways, there was never a dull moment. I will definitely return.
