We have designed our programme to complement your holiday, giving you the choice to relax with the perfect background music or sit down and be entranced with stunning live productions. Throughout the day, our Entertainments Team will keep you busy with a host of fun activities, quizzes, music, games and workshops within a jam-packed programme. And after dinner, the stage is set for showtime where the renowned Potters Theatre Company will blow you away with outstanding productions every night.
This year’s shows include: Simply The Best, Born In The USA and A Night of Variety. And, premiering this Spring at both resorts, you will enjoy our brand new show, a heartfelt tribute to the mesmerising world of West End and Broadway musicals: Spotlight.

With regular recruitment from the West End and led by a creative team of show producers and choreographers with decades of experience in entertainment, when it comes to showtime, the Potters Theatre Company lead the way.
Throughout your break you’ll enjoy different productions each night featuring supremely talented live vocalists and high energy dance routines, covering every inch of our stages. The team are tireless and supported by a skilled Technical Crew, which means our shows are an uninterrupted experience of back to back hits you’ll love from a variety of genres.
As the title of one of their current productions suggests, the Potters Theatre Company are ‘Simply the Best’.
The Stages Are Set
We continually invest in your evening experience and both of our theatres in Norfolk (The Atlas Theatre) and Essex (The Glade Theatre) are equipped with-state-of-the-art stages, lighting and sound, on par with any venue you’ll find in the West End. Complementing each production in its own style, our theatres also feature floor-to-ceiling LED screens that dazzle in the background, while our talented Potters Theatre Company sparkle on stage.
All things combined, and with new shows constantly in production, it’s no secret that entertainment at Potters Resorts is one of the many reasons why our guests return time and time again.
The Atlas Theatre

The Atlas Theatre is a huge venue seating up to 800 guests at our Hopton-on-Sea Resort. With consistent investment and updates, we have ensured the top quality of sound, lights and giant video screens. A fitting venue for some of our most dazzling performances over the years.
The Glade Theatre
Five Lakes
The Glade Theatre is a truly spectacular venue seating up to 650 guests. Styled like an enchanted forest, with trees inside and a starlit ceiling, this brand new theatre also features fantastic sound, lighting and a huge, high-resolution LED screen, for some truly magical performances.

The Garden Terrace
Relax and unwind with a refreshing drink outdoors on The Garden Terrace. Make the most of those Summer days as you soak in the sunshine with a G&T, glass of wine or refreshing soft drink as you watch superb live entertainment.

Simply The Best!
Been going for 22 years now. It just gets better and better if that’s possible. Delicious food, excellent drinks and service. Entertainment is the best I have ever seen anywhere!!! It’s the best theatre on the East Coast with such professional staff and tech crew input. Hope to be going for another 22 years if I make it!

Midweek break for two.
This was our 2nd holiday to Five Lakes and it was brilliant. We love everything about it from the food to the evening entertainment. First class shows as good as any others we have been to even the West End. Can't wait to go back later this year.
